Finally arrived in Cairns, Saturday afternoon. Booked in to the Cairns Holiday Park which near the city centre and within easy walk of the Botanical Gardens.

| Windy Hill Wind Farm |
On the way to the coast morning tea was had at Innot Hot Springs (hot water in the creek with steam rising to prove it!). Also passed Windy Hill Wind Farm at Ravenshoe - spectacular to see and hear the wind turbines in action on a wind-blown misty hill. Then came the long descent onto the coastal plain from the Atherton Tablelands with Di kissing the ground when we finally reached the bottom.
