The next night was spent staying at Undarra Volcanic National Park which boasts the largest lava flow from a single volcano in the world. With our trusty ranger, Chris, we took a guided tour of the lava tubes - about a two hour guided walk through a couple of tubes.  Absolutely fascinating! Ranger-man Chris amazed us with the geology and botany of the area - beware of the Cooktown Ironwood tree!.
